1. Home Hospice Consultation
We provide at home hospice consultations with our experienced veterinarian to help you navigate your pet’s care during their final stages of life. During these visits, we will discuss your pet’s condition, explore options to enhance their comfort and quality of life, and address any concerns you may have.
This service also offers a valuable second opinion if your regular veterinarian has suggested that your pet’s time may be nearing. Our goal is to support you with compassionate guidance, ensuring you can make the best decisions for your pet’s well-being.
2. Home Euthanasia
Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is never easy. Our in-home euthanasia service allows your pet to spend their final moments comfortably at home, surrounded by love.
Scheduling Your Appointment
When you reach out to us, we will coordinate a day and time that works best for you. Before our visit, we will discuss any necessary pre-medication and request your pet’s medical history from your regular veterinarian.
What to Expect on the Day
Tamara, along with a skilled veterinary nurse, will arrive at your home to provide support and guidance. We will go over the euthanasia process with you, answer any questions, and ensure you are fully informed. You will also be asked to sign a consent form confirming ownership and approval of the procedure.
The Procedure
To ensure your pet's comfort, we will administer either an IV catheter into their paw or give a small injection to help make them comfortable and sleepy. Once you are ready, Dr. Tamara will gently provide the final injection, allowing your pet to pass peacefully and painlessly.

3. Aftercare
We understand that every pet owner has unique wishes for their beloved companion after they pass. While home burial is an option, many London residents may not have the necessary space. In such cases, cremation offers a thoughtful and respectful alternative. If you choose home burial, please ensure you follow UK Government regulations - to ensure everything is done safely and legally.
When it comes to having your beloved companion cremated, we offer a variety of options to suit your preferences at every stage of the process. You can choose a home pick-up (subject to availability and day of the week) or a pick-up at our clinic. Additionally, we offer both individual and communal cremation, with the option to have your pet's ashes returned to you or scattered in their serene woodland. Whatever your preferences or budget, we have a thoughtful option to honour your pet's memory.
We have a close partnership with Dignity Pet Crematorium in Hampshire, a family-run business that shares our strong values of compassionate care for both pets and their families, as well as a commitment to environmental responsibility. This alignment in principles made Dignity Pet Crematorium the perfect partner for us.
Before your pet’s passing, you are welcome to reach out to Dignity Pet Crematorium to explore various options or browse their online catalogue. They offer a range of beautiful memorials, including resin paw prints, jewellery, urns, and more. Additionally, you can arrange for your pet’s ashes to be scattered in their serene woodland, where you can also plan for your own ashes to be laid to rest alongside them.
If you haven't made your wishes known beforehand, one of Dignity Pet Crematorium's phone operators will reach out to you once your pet arrives at their facility. They will guide you through the available options and payment process.
If you would like us to take your pet on the day, Dignity will come collect them from us. We’ll make sure they’re comfortably places waiting for their pickup. Please note, there is an additional cost for us taking your little one away on the day (please refer to pricing page).
